About PadTester
PadTester is a gamepad tester that runs entirely in the browser. It exists so a player, a buyer, or a repair bench can see the same buttons, sticks, and numbers without installing a driver or creating an account.
What we measure
Buttons and analog values, stick position, a resting-drift sample, circularity, an inner deadzone, triggers, dual rumble, browser-observed update rate, and sample age. Motion is a WebHID confirmation for Sony pads on desktop Chromium, not a fabricated trace.
What we will not pretend
- A browser hertz figure is not a USB poll rate.
- Sample age is not end-to-end display lag.
- We do not publish a popularity ranking. We do not upload your tests, so we do not have one.
- We are not affiliated with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, or 8BitDo.
Corrections
Ids and repair notes go stale. If a product id on a model page is wrong for the pad in your hands, write to hello@example.com from the contact page and include the raw id string from the tester.
