Readings
Drift bands, suggested deadzones, and hertz figures are practical guidance for numbers the Gamepad API returns. They are not factory tolerances. Sample age is not a laboratory input-lag certificate. A browser cannot see every USB report, so a polling figure here is not the poll rate on the box.
Repairs and warranty
Warranty programs change. Follow the current page from the company that made your controller. Opening a pad can end a warranty and can be unsafe around batteries. This site does not write firmware and does not tell you to run unofficial calibration tools.
